Prof. Thiemo Martijn Bezemer studies how plants influence the soil they grow in and the microbiome in the soil, and how these changes influence other plants that grow later in the soil, and the insects on those plants. Prof. Thiemo Martijn Bezemerhas published more than 300 academic papers, with an H-index of 68, and has been cited more than 20,000 times.Prof. Thiemo Martijn Bezemer is also honored as senior researcher of the Netherlands Institute of Ecology (NIOO-KNAW)
