博士，研究员，博士生导师。现任中国科学院长白山森林生态系统定位研究站/吉林长白山森林生态系统国家野外科学观测研究站站长，《应用生态学报》和《生态学杂志》编委。
长期从事森林生态学、生态水文学研究，主持国家科技支撑计划课题、国家自然基金、中国科学院重要方向性课题等20余项。以第一作者/通讯作者发表SCI 论文20余篇，合著专著7部，授权专利16项；获辽宁省自然科学三等奖，辽宁省水利科学技术进步一等奖、二等奖，入选2014年度辽宁省“百千万人才工程奖。
